PRESS: Energy Ministry has no plans to forbidd gasoline exports
VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 3 (PRIME) -- A gasoline export prohibition remains on the agenda, but the Energy Ministry prefers interfering with the market as little as possible, Deputy Minister Pavel Sorokin told newspaper Izvestiya in an interview released on Friday.
"All measures that can be applied are always on the agenda, including an export ban… But this is a very strong measure because we have managed to remove exports thanks to our agreements because there is a premium on the domestic market," Sorokin said.
The official separately said that he sees the fair oil price at U.S. $55 and $60 per barrel.
